Protection Doctrine

Every individual has the natural right to protect himself from invaders.  The government protecting you from crimes is at least reasonable.  The government punishing people for other’s crimes is completely unreasonable.  Of course, people want to be protected from crimes.  Removing the ability to protect yourself is a crime in itself.  The so-called protectors are committing a crime while claiming to protect you from crime.

Only a “fool or an impostor” pretends he will protect you by removing your own protection.  For example, you hire a private security firm.  The security firm now tells you to hand over everything you have to protect yourself.  Might you be a tad suspicious of the security they’ll provide?  The private security firm will probably give you a discount for other security precautions.  Plus, this hypothetical security firm would be paid for voluntarily.

We all have the natural right to punish others for their crime.  Particularly, when the crime is directed towards you.  You can also come to the protection of others.  This doesn’t mean you must.  It only means you can and it’s not a crime.  The criminal is the one violating private property.  They are in the wrong.  Not the individual providing protection.  No organization has the right to deprive you of protection.

Crimes are easily distinguishable from other non-violent acts.  Being protected from a crime and from your own foolishness are very different.  Crimes are obvious.  What makes a person happy is not.  They can be innumerable and opposed.  Every individual must judge for himself.  It’s still not a crime if someone doesn’t like your choice.  How much would you pay for a security firm to stop people from using a substance you disagree with?

Everyone has a natural right to protect himself.  Any organization engaged in the act of preventing you from protecting yourself is a crime.  An aggression against private property is a crime.  That includes goods you may own.  Politicians will claim to protect you as long as it serves their interest.  They will not do so in many cases.  Even if they would, they may be unable to.  You must be able to protect yourself.
