The fall of civilization is at the gates.  A psychological condition has taken hold of mankind.  Individuals have lost belief in individuals.  The psychologically damaged arrange themselves in something called the collective.  Free will is eliminated by doing so.  A collective, society, or whatever they call it, is not an individual.  It’s a sign of collapse.  The individual has been replaced by the arbitrary wants of others.

Forming a group or party is a powerful destructive force.  The group relies on emotion to make decisions.  They don’t believe in being logical.  Using logic makes you an enemy.  The newly created enemy must be eliminated.  They won’t be satisfied until you think and act exactly as the group prescribes.  While the group is inferior to the individual, he will be regarded as inferior to them.  That’s the herd mentality.

Their pettiness will be disguised with excessive pride.  They’ll try to justify their actions with what cant even be called logic.  This is terribly obvious, but the group fails to see it.  It’s easy to think the group consists of mediocre and subpar minds.  This is not the case.  Many are very intelligent.  It’s their personality.  It’s disassociated with intellect.  It’s the herd mentality that has led civilization astray.

It’s a fable that people make better decisions in a group.  I’m not saying this can’t ever happen.  Take the quote from Franz Kafka, “One idiot is one idiot.  Two idiots are two idiots.  Ten thousand idiots are a political party.”  Or take the quote from H.L. Mencken, “Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance.”  Both are correct, and point out the lunacy of a group making the best decisions.

This pathological condition won’t just disappear.  People need a real education.  Not the one at public schools they call education.  The time has come to reject the herd mentality.  It’s causing the fall of civilization.  The larger the group, the quicker civilization will fall.  In rejecting the individual, the herd will show their feebleness.  The individual is the bestower of abundance.  The herd is a parasite.
