Law to Avoid Devouring Ourselves

Failure to understand natural law will result in aggression.  This could very well be unintentional.  You’ll end up inadvertently devouring others.  You’re guided by reason under natural law.  Individuals have the instinct to do what’s best.  However, you’re held back, so to speak, from aggressing against others.  Failure to recognize and understand natural law will result in you being blind to the harm you cause.

Understanding natural law comes from reason.  It doesn’t come from blindly following orders.  The people giving the orders are either ignorant or ignoring natural law.  It must be one of the two.  The orders they give are based on arbitrary power.  It’s created law by those giving the orders.  They despise natural law because it prevents them from having power over others.  It must be destroyed in their eyes.

Every individual has a right to his own body.  That includes the labor your body produces.  Someone else owning you or your labor is unjust.  Even a portion is unjustifiable.  You have a right to your body, but not a right to others’.  That is an aggression against another.  Even if you agree with this—because it has always been that way—doesn’t change the facts.  It’s an aggression and devouring has begun.

Having a right to your body gives you the right to be immoral.  You’ll suffer the consequences of your decision, but it’s still your right.  Others may not agree with it, but it’s not their choice.  You can engage in immoral activities, but this doesn’t mean it’ll be accepted by the community.  This will hold people back from making immoral choices.  That doesn’t mean all immoral choices will be put to an end.  People are checked without positive laws.

You have the right to do what you please with your property, but you can’t uninvitedly interfere with another’s.  Natural law prevents you from devouring others.  It even holds you back from harming yourself.  Positive law is based on coercion, and encourages devouring others.  Many of the so-called supporters of freedom inadvertently support coercion.  The masses must understand natural law.
